believe it or not we hit the 80s today, cooler in the mountains, 53 in leadville, low 70s in alamosa, trinidad and springfield. now at the airport mostly cloudy skies, temperatures remaining at 70 degrees th these storms out of the southwest around 17 miles per hour. a bit of a breeze in the 9news backyard, but that's okay. our temperatures are a little cooler. earlier this afternoon we saw a line of thunderstorms push throughout parts of the metro area. you probably saw darker skies around 2:00, 2:30. it finally delivered some decent rain, many locations picking up between .1 to .2 in the heart of the city and across the western suburbs as get a drop at dia where we keep our records. this storm system is sitting across south central colorado and parts of the san luis valley. with that counterclockwise flow it will once again wrap up all that moisture moving it into the front range by tomorrow afternoon. you can see the central part of the state picking up the most amount of rain showers around here, but some heavier pockets in northern colorado, aerial flood advisory in place for ports of wel
