the trinity river flows south down near houston, the added rain in southeast texas had the trinity river the size of the mississippi river. and as the river rose, in southeast texas, a herd of cattle were trapped in the middle of the river on high ground. this high ground was eventually going to be overcome with water and the cattle would be washed out to sea eventually. the river at this point is between two small towns of liberty and dayton about six miles apart, separated by u.s. highway 90. so sunday in a scene reminiscent of the 1800's, cowboys mounted air boats yes, air boats, mr. speaker to force the cattle, the hundreds of cattle on this spot in the middle of the river, off of the spot to dry land which was only highway 90. it was the only area that had high ground. the highway was above the water even though water was on both sides of the highway. the roundup took several hours because, mr. speaker, cattle are hardheaded. they did not want to leave the high ground and swim to a highway. so it took several hours to do this. even they were lassoing -- the cowboys were lassoing cal

i think it is all about that impossible trinity. mark: why is it impossible? is impossible because opec needs higher revenue. to get that higher revenue, you need a higher price. if you get a higher price, it means that demand grows. and also supply the third one non-opec supply which is being moderated, also increases if there is a high price. it is getting a balance between these three elements. that's where the current range helps. mark: that's about the right range for the price in the near term? >> in the near term, it helps demand. the global economy is not at its best. the consumer is driving oil demand. gasoline, jet fuel, those are driving it. the industrial side is actually week. diesel demand is weak. lower oil prices will help that. on the supply side as well, adjusting it. lower oil prices mean there will be a moderate supply coming from the u.s. bringing on efficiencies bringing on cost-cutting measures as well, it is a combination of all that. $60 to $65 a barrel doesn't rock the boat. mark: have you been surprised at the moves in oil since that
