across the trivalley, 68 degrees in pleasanton. in the overall timing, haven't seen any huge fluctuations so that's great in terms of our confidence that this storm system is going to happen on saturday. this just popped up on the forecast models yesterday. so we have been looking at this with a fine tooth comb. you can see here on friday 10:30 at night, showers for santa rosa but the event will begin here by early saturday morning, at 2:30 scattered showers developing. then to 5:00 a.m. possibly widespread coverage here of some wet weather from santa rosa to san jose. light to moderate in activity. by 9:00 in the morning, we likely still will hold on to pockets of rainfall in san jose and the santa cruz mountains. by all indications we'll clear out as we head through the afternoon on saturday. in terms of totals, from san francisco down to the santa cruz mountains, a quarter to half inch possible. san jose may get close to a quarter inch as well. the extended forecast does not have the entire weekend wet. dry weather on sunday. ch
