we've got two tropical systems. not going to impact the tropical storm number 2 or storm number 2. this will become tropical storm cindy, but regardless of named storms or not, it is going to be forecasted to turn into tropical storm cindy. they've got tropical storm warnings and watches up throughout louisiana, even into eastern texas. this storm is going to take a pass through the north and west sometime tomorrow and then tomorrow potentially making a landfall as the tropical storms with winds of 40 miles an hour. it's not going to be the winds that are necessarily the biggest factor. it's going to be the rain. i want to show you future models of how much rain they're predicting across parts of the gulf coast. look at this, yellow color showing up from mobile into parts of mississippi, even southern parts of louisiana, they could see over easily a half a foot of rain, 8 to 10 inches of rain in isolated areas. they're likely going to be dealing with a lot of flooding issues there. closer to home, our temperatures look pretty good we're in the upper 80s, lower humidity, beautiful o

here is the latest tropical satellite.he tropical storm with maximum sustained winds about 50 miles an hour. you're not seeing that tightened donut hole in the satellite imagery, that's because it's a very dig organized -- disorganized storm at this point. a lot of the rain and thunderstorms on the right side of this system, where the heaviest rainfall totals are as well. the path of cindy, as a reporter mentioned in the package, going to go between louisiana, and texas, work its way up, and curve around to the north and east. but even though the center of circulation is out there, the heavy rain and potential flash flooding, life-threatening flooding threats, yeah, those remain east of the center of circulation. there's a lot of rain in the south. there's rain, though, that's going to be pulled up right ahead of this next cold front coming in this weekend. pulled up to the mid-atlantic into our area. so that means that cindy will influence our rain chances. we will see more showers and thunderstorms, mainly friday, and al

storm cindy, now downgraded to tropical depression.o even though it has lost somewhat of its strength, it still has ample moisture to work with. and i've been saying all along the legacy of the storm will be the flooding rain it bridges, it may be a depression, not even a named storm at all. if it has the moisture to work with, it can devastate parts of this section of the country. and it certainly is doing that with the incredible rain amount it is bringing in with it. now as this is expected to make right-hand turn, basically south of the ohio river valley, it is not going to adjust -- move right into our region, going to be spared the worse of that, but what we are going to see happen system we mentioned moment ago, sort of draw in some of the moisture, as it fizzled. that will help produce locally drenching rains for our area. friday into saturday. comes through in several different pieces, which we will go over in the seven day. but meantime, again, another pretty shot for you to enjoy. as the beach has definitely filling up here
