>> reporter: troy, talk about a bizarre and gruesome cold case. that is certainly what this is. pinal county sheriff paul babeu announcing this morning a break in those cases and naming two suspects in the murders that occurred back in april of 2008. now, 48-year-old olivas and his younger brother, both known high level drug traffickers. sheriff babeu says both are suspects in the 2008 murders of lopez in cordova. both of those men were reported missing, and their remains were nationals who lived in west phoenix. the remains of lopez, who has an extensive drug crime history, were discovered in a shallow grave in 2009 in casa grande, and then in 2014 remains of his brother were discovered in a septic tank in casa grande. sheriff babeu says extensive work, and you can imagine how tough it must have been, by the medical examiner's office as well as investigating deputies is what allowedhe these two drug traffickers to these two cold case murders. >> this is a cold case and often time people think that we forget about these cases and they are on the back burner while we have so many
