joining us is fs investment chief market strategist, troy gayeski.ow do you feel about markets going into year end and '25? does this rattily have legs? >> -- rally have legs? >> certainly the short-term. we have more than 4% more money supply relative to nominal gdp compared to pre-pandemic so there's plenty of liquidity out there including over $7 trillion in money market funds. the biggest issue for investors even though we expect near term strength is you're getting that growth in the s&p or nasdaq in either unreasonable prices or highly elevated ones. the s&p is 23.1 times next 12 months earnings. the russell 2000's 29.5. so what we find investors is looking for growth at a reasonable price and they're settling on middle market private equity where we had five to six times the revenue growth the last 12 months as you had in the russell at cheaper valuations so we do expect continued strength. we do expect a good year for markets. just much less bouyant since the election and 2024. maria: we've had real moves up on this anticipation that change i
