others it's been roaring. 32 up in truckee. if you are headed up there today, it would not be a great day to go although most of it is rain. look at the moisture. this continues well to the west southwest. here looks to be some of the deepest moisture but it will start sliding southward. if it spells out, then we are really in trouble. this low will eventually start tracking and sending in right there. starting to get the low-level jet in here. here is your computer-generated forecast. here's 10:00 a.m. now, that doesn't mean it's right. that's where the energy looks to be focused the heaviest and slowly sliding southward through the afternoon eventually moving south by about 6:00. i think that's a little fast to be honest with you. we keep some rain going through tuesday and tuesday night we should be done. wednesday, thursday, and friday looks to be okay. a stronger, colder system looks to be moving in by the weekend. that will not have as much moisture but it will pack a pretty good punch with cold air and lower snow levels.
