again, going back to the truman home, stuart mentioned the truman balcony. you look at the truman home in independence missouri and you see the beautiful porch around the outside. you look at the back of the truman home, then there's the sitting porch at the back of the house. that short stairway there, the middle of the picture, that's how the family was in and out of the truman home. i did not know that the house had a front door. and never used it because i went into the kitchen. a quick story about the kitchen of this home, a group israeli -- a group of israeli officers learn to use the lamps missile system, they went to go over to see my grandfather and were told, my grandmother said originally they had a head cold. they snuck in. he was mindful that my grandfather might have a head cold i don't know if it was a fib or not, but he didn't take these army officers in but took diane into the house and left to the others in the car. so, that is that kitchen right off of that porch. you could see that the porch is enclosed and that my grandmother let those b
