just last week, a tsa supervisor at laguardia airport allegedly fondles a young woman. that officer also fired, facing charges. all leading some to wonder if tsa may have to examine the way it screens its screeners. today the head of the tsa said employees are held to the highest standards. >> do these cases suggest that you have to change the way you screen to hire officers? >> i think what it suggests is that, uh, occasionally you have some bad apples in your employment. >> reporter: but it's not just tsa officers. look at this in san francisco. that is a civilian wearing a blue shirt, posing as a security officer, calling over two women, taking them into a small room for patdowns. 12 minutes go by. finally one of the real officers from the private security company knocks on the door. the man is arrested, but he too is never prosecuted because neither of the women filed reports. the company covenant says the tsa and the san francisco airport took corrective action, more broadly, the tsa believes that training and zero tolerance will cut the number of these incidents.
