tucker barnes is here with the weather. >> you got it. added bonus for everybody in the form of gusty winds. sunshine across the area. winds out of the north and east at nine miles per hour. all right. so we have a combination of warm front moving through bringing some shower activity in northern maryland, and a cold front out to the west. you can see some left overshower. the cold front will move through, bringing us another round of showers and some thunderstorm activity and then behind the front, we're going to get very, very windy around here. so potential for strong thunderstorms and then gusty winds. the entire area is either under a high wind warning or wind advisory starting between noon and 3:00 today, and the issue here is winds gusting from 50 to 60 miles per hour. counties in close, loundoun county, frederick county could be dealing with gusty winds that could become the biggest weather stories this afternoon. 75 the forecast high for washing tonight record high is 78. we're going to get very close. >> more details in that for
