and some of department heads joining us including jeff tumlin and others. thank you so much for joining us here today. and as i said, a rich history starting in the early 1900's. this community is an important part of the fabric in had makes san francisco so great. when i think about the challenges this we are experiencing today, especially around the issues related to housing, i can't help but think back to the international hotel 45 years ago we celebrate the anniversary of not anything exciting other than people in the filipino community who lived there and were displaced. but they did not walk away it sparked a move am around housing advocacy in san francisco. it sparked a movement to ensure this community was not completely remove friday this city it lead to so many wonderful organizations. to support and uplift the community i see carla here from west bay, good to see you a person who works with our seniors and our young people. which is an important thing this we need at this time. but it lead to many of the great programs we have done in san francis
