alison: how was that for you guys in terms of being in a remote part of tuscany? >> it was great.ing felt real. we were walking around the grounds of a 14th century convent that we were shooting in. it was great for acting and for getting into those characters. pulling the donkey down the hill, that was a moment where i was like, this is very hard. those people had to do a lot of crazy stuff. >> a lot of people will try to reduce this movie to a raunchy, comedy. because of the effort that jeff put into make it awesome and historically accurate, it is a beautiful art film disguised as a raunchy comedy. it i think that adds to the comedy when you are in these beautiful locations that are shot so well. we are playing everything very seriously as opposed to trying play into the jokes. alison: i read somewhere that jeff having a really strong point of view like you to the project. why is that useful as an actor? >> that is what you want. you want someone to know exactly what they want. with jeff, i don't know how to describe it, he sees the world in a unique and amazing way. i want to
