take a look at our earlier time-lapse, you'll notice right now quiet through tuscon but pretty strong cells tracking through the northeast. around dinnertime we had a very strong cell moving through the otherwise we stay pretty dry. it was the big wall of dust that was the major weather event. in terms of other showers, a heavy poke of rain north of show low, just east of flag a little bit of activity north of 40, and then into northwestern arizona still seeing some showers. this moisture though spilling from the north to the sous south, a little bit of different weather pattern today. along with the wall of rain and dust, gusts of wind, hour near sky harbor, 40 near casa grande. makes sense since we saw all of that movement from southeastern arizona into the central deserts, and we will see more parent changes, i should say, and more about that coming up in just a few minutes. >>> and viewers have been sharing great pictures of the storm on our facebook page. we actually shared this one on our fox 10 facebook page. this was at sky harbor airport as you can tell at the height of over

lots going to the south of us, and as you can see, not as much near the tuscon area, but you get a little north of that and you start seeing those amounts pick up a little bit and you can kind of see it right here, there's casa grande right there, so it might be something trying to sneak into tat area before too long here. and then we get up in the baghdad, congress, there's prescott right over there, and you can see they picked up anywhere from four tenths of an inch to one full inch. so there's some pretty good there's flagstaff getting a little moisture. over in the eastern mountains, some stuff rolling through there very rapidly on the day today. dew point temperatures in the 50s right here. but as you can see, in the 40s, even the 30s in some areas, but then look down south. they are almost in the 60s, and in fact, in the 60s in some areas. as we put the futurecast into motion for you, you can see there's a little bit of action happening as we get into the weekend here. and you're going to see some moisture aroun round the valley. 104 degrees for the high today. you can see some 104s

southwestern arizona, things pretty quiet, showers making the way through tuscon and safford in the past a couple of hours. we make our way that's where we see some more activity, some moderate cells tracking across flagstaff earlier, making their way to the north and east, northern arizona ome light activity as well. things have calmed down very nicely since we have seen the sunset tonight, 95 degrees at sky harbor, wind about three miles an hour. big picture, we are seeing some changes in the forecast in terms of moisture. we saw that blowing dust the other day when it was dryer but we are going to see not only the possibility of rain in the forecast as the low migrates with idaho to the southern california coastline, we'll tap into the subtropical moisture, get a little bit of a monsoon pattern than what we have been seeing the past a couple of days. numbers wise, mid-60s in payson, 65 in page, 80 for safford, valley numbers in the 80s and 90s, 91 for buckeye and surprise, 91 degrees for maricopa. the dew points on t tonight only in the 50s in the locations that we are seeing the high

and then you can see over in the tuscon area, a little bit of the valley here on this east side is where we are seeing just a little bit of that active weather find its way in, and as i mentioned a little bit of rain and sprinkles on that east and northeast side, but a lot of it is virga, which means that it evaporates before it gets to the ground. as we head north, we do see some pretty good rain up there. in fact the amounts have been pretty good, anywhere from a half an inch to an inch and almost nine tenths, so just about two inches in some areas, and as you can see here, the flagstaff area, lots of moisture around some of that stuff evaporating out, but we still have some showers and some storms around the state. you can see with the dew points, look at that 56 in phoenix now, letting up a little bit. they had been 50s and 60s cross -- across the mountains, as the rain is coming down, you can see the 50s and 60s in the south. put it in the week here, you can see some showers around. not a lot of them making it into the valley, but some of them certainly threatening the valley a coup
