jeff, how are officials in the uk first of all reacting to the president's tweets? >> officials in the united kingdom are not reacting well to the tweets from the president this morning. this is not the first time the president has gotten ahead of an investigation, but teresa may, the british prime minister who the president spoke with earlier today had pretty strong words for the american president. she said this. it is never helpful for anyone to speculate on an ongoing investigation. also a police spokesman in london had some similarly harsh words. he said that the president's comments were pure speculation given that we don't know who is involved. any speculation that police said is unhelpful. clearly a bit of a rebuke taking issue with what the president was saying. it is unclear if they know more than they are releasing, but clearly for their own reasons, they did not release that. that did not stop him from answering the questions and going out on social media today. >> he was tweeting a lot and president trump is also defending his outreach to the democratic
