washington d.c. is following events and reading those twitter messages the president seems to be sort of full steam ahead when it comes to talking about chinese trade tariffs what else has he been saying. yeah a flurry of early morning tweets here in washington from the u.s. president as negotiations continue there is it's evident by the number of tweets the president is frustrated by what has taken place with these talks that they are progressing as they hope but at the same time he is as he often does putting a positive spin on it trying to downplay that there is any trouble already he has pushed past the march first deadline in terms of these tariffs now kicking in but at the same time we'll speaking at the white house in the last twenty four hours the president seems in no rush to finalize this trade agreement as these tariffs kick in the talks continue so the president currently is defending the fact that these tariffs on two hundred billion of goods now in place or being implemented i should say because he argues that these will bring in far more wealth in terms of the tariffs and revenue generated
