but if deputy chancellor tye henderson is appointed, i think that is a great step forward because sheessive agenda in terms of making schools better for kids but i think she's easier to get along with, a little more of a people person. >> how would you address it or describe the differences between the two where you feel like if -- and granted on an interim basis, how that would be with the teachers union? >> i think we've had a very good relationship with henderson and she's more inclusive in how she approaches things. but she's very aggressive and serious about reform. >> the qualities that you would like to see in a new chancellor, be it ms. henderson or not, what are some of the things or lessoned learned as far as the cooperation and the washington teachers union and the chancellor. >> you have to be willing to be inclusive. you have to be willing to hear the voices of our teachers. because those are the practitioners in the classroom each and every day. i think that deputy chancellor henderson is more of an inclusive type person. though again she is definitely a very, very stron
