u.s. department of justice are supposed to be out here possibly as early as today. but now we're hearing these meetings could take place later this week to negotiate some sort of compromise between the city of vallejo and the native american groups protesting out here. in the meantime the people here say they will continue to stay camped out here. this is now day five that they've been camped out here at glen cove. you can see they have a campfire going. and here at the entrance of the trail if we back up a little bit you can see they have their signs and banners out here. now let's show you the land at the center of this dispute. we have some video that is very beautiful land about 15 acres right along the water at glen cove. the protesters say that land is actually a native american burial ground going back 3500 years. the city of vallejo wants to expand the park adding a parking lot, picnic tables and restrooms. that construction is what the native american groups oppose. >> this is our church. i mean it's a church without walls, but it is our church nonetheless.
