swimming, team u.s.a. for the entire team.is that something you embrace or just added pressure you don't necessarily like? >> i mean, i think it is something you naturally grow into. it is something that over the years, like af been put in leadership roles going all the way back to the high school. like i was captain of the high school and then you go into college and you gradually get pushed into leadership roles as you get older in college and it is the same thing on the international level i guess as you go to more of these competitions people are looking to you for advice. >> this one-year delay did it help you or hurt you or are you indifferent about it meaning the tokyo delayed one year? >> yeah. i think you could have taken it a number of ways. for me, when the decision initially came down obviously challenging. i felt like i was in a really good spot in march of 2020 but at the end of the day there is nothing i could have really done about that decision so i took a couple weeks off and refocused for this year. and sitt
