as we get over here we have a small display on the surface hub 2s on the u.s.s liberty incident thatplace in 1967. it involved israel and the us. israel attacked the liberty and effortless cr several crew members died. this is one of the original uniforms worn on the liberty crew and these are photographs the crew members gave to us so we could promote and showcase this cold war event. and then one of the jackets they made up for the reunion to remember the uss liberty. that event is still controversial. the crew members of the liberty would like congress to re-open the investigation and determine the cause of the attack whether it was intentional or not. i don't know for sure the behind-the-scenes dealings as to what took place but i know the that the crew members were adamment to get their version what happened, very important after 50 plus years. on this side the uss pueblo, captured in 1968, january 23rd, in north korea. the ship was bored, the sailors were taken prisoner, they served almost one year, maybe a little bit more in a north korean prison. this is a prisoner's uniform.
