i joined as a college student, i go to uc berkeley. i can imagine talking to my fellow members hal and just seeing the class -- how and just sing the class. for my career and i have to think bill 4 my graduation, i am about to graduate from berkeley next thursday. and more than just the wall street wizards, bill has been a father figure to me, a friend, and i got my diploma through him. he has been a great input in my career. i went through a lot of hard times and he pretty much was always there. that is why i have to dedicate my diploma to him. he made it possible, he made my life so much simpler. and for the city i think that it gives the opportunities to students who have talent and are 20 -- hungry for opportunities, to go out in the world and have the courage to do what we want to do. to be successful in life, be successful in everything we aspire. that is what you have -- what i have to say. thank you. >> in closing, we have something we wanted to present to you. >> on behalf of the wall street wizards, i would like to present yo

on saturday the protesters went back to the uc berkeley plot of land in albany to harvest crops theyplanted last spring. the protesters want the land to be used as an urban farm. the uc berkeley plans to build a whole foods grocery store and senior housing complex around that part of the land. we sent our ktvu camera out to plot of land to check on things and all quiet no one was around protesters do not seem to be occupying the site as they did back in april and may. because of the increased interest in the city council meeting tonight. city leaders move their regular council meeting location from albany city hall to the albany community center. the meeting starts at 7:30. >>> student leaders at city college of san francisco have called an emergency meeting tonight over threats the school might have to close. the organization that accredits community colleges have given ccsf eight months to figure out how to deal with its financial problems. the groups report also criticizes the school's leadership as being weak. the meeting is set for 6:00 tonight at the lgbt center at 1800 market

to endorse the state's new budget that allows uc to freeze tuition at current levels.in approving a new budget legislature agreed to allocate 125 million dollars to uc in exchange for a tuition freeze. the budget assumes voters will approve the tax plan if they don't uc has been told they will receive automatic mid year cut of 250 million dollars hence the tuition increase. >>> southern california city now the third community in the state to seek bankruptcy protection. the san bernardino city council approved the action last night. the city facing a 46 million dollar deficit financial decision so dire city leaders warn they may not be able to meet payroll. they've already stopped paying some vendors, not immediately clear when the city will file for protection. stockton filed for bankruptcy last month becoming the largest city in the nation to do so. mammoth lakes declared bankruptcy last week. >>> was it hot enough for you yesterday? >> gee it was hot enough for me yesterday. >> well get ready for more today! >> okay i'm ready, the ac is ready, mike is ready! >> pg&e
