under uc berkeley's enrollment process, requesting another class would put her over the 16-unit cap, no longer allowed. >> i'm unable to add another course because my limit is 16, but i want to add another course so that i have like a full load. so i'm trying to figure out, do i need to drop a class so i can add this class? >> reporter: under the old tele-bears enrollment system, they could sign up for more than 16 units, knowing they could drop one of them. it was called holding a course. now they can't under the calcentral system. >> they went with this system because, basically, students were enrolling in a bunch of classes that they weren't sure they were going to end up taking or not. and so, that made their wait list process go slower. >> reporter: that used to make it harder for some students to get into a high-demand course. >> nobody can hold on to that class while i'm -- you're either enrolled or you're not. so that's effectively good. >> reporter: but the associated students of uc berkeley expressed concern about the new process. >> so they're stuck where they're only tech

crime continues to happen on uc berkeley. >> there have been a string of crimes in the next -- last weekhere with the latest. >> reporter: the latest is a sexual battery where a student says that she was touched inappropriately while she was walking through a plaza in the middle of the day. we have a picture of the suspect a white male 50 to 60 years old, clean-shaven and wearing sunglasses. campus police report this happened on wednesday and the 20-year-old student was not hurt. this attack happening just a few days after we learned about 19 car break-ins in several parking lots on and near campus. him almost all of those cases valuables were left in plain sight. by south campus five people were robbed on monday night and all five of those cases the suspects either used a gun or threaten to have a gun. police believe it is the same two suspects that committed all five robberies. uc berkeley police have stepped up patrols and warning everyone on campus to be aware of their surroundings. students move in on august 20. >>> still ahead, a waterspout forms right over a lake and it is all cau
