move in day at uc berkeley continues tomorrow. reporting from berkeley. i'm james torres, ktvu, fox two news. >> san francisco district attorney brooke jenkins is being asked to recuse herself from the case of 26 protesters who shut down the golden gate bridge back in april during a gaza ceasefire protest. lawyers representing the protesters have sent a letter to d.a. jenkins demanding her recusal from the case. it's over. what they're calling conflicts of interest and patterns of anti-arab racism within her office. the charges against the protesters include felony conspiracy, trespassing, and false imprisonment. the lawyers accused d.a. jenkins of having back door meetings with members of the israeli consulate. they also referenced patterns of anti-arab racism and rhetoric among the da staff. the da's office issued a statement to ktvu saying in part, charging decisions are made based on the facts, evidence and the law. we do not pursue political prosecutions under any circumstances, at any time. goes on to say d.a. jenkins meetings with consular staff do
