california special olympics are now under way. today is the first day of competition. the event started about half an hour ago at uc davis. 00 athletes from all over northern california are competing in aquatics, bocce, tennis and track & field. the games are going to be held today and tomorrow from 8:00 to 4:00. admission is free. . >>> good morning to you. many of us waking up with mostly blue skies. we do have partly cloudy skies around the bay area for today. that's a sigh of relief for some of those planning those outdoor activities. got a lot of weddings going on in june. it's the first weekend of summer. it's not going to feel like it, but at least we will be dry. onshore breeze will continue for your weekend. westerly wind at 13 miles per hour reported at sfo. fairfield, 17. concord, antioch reporting breezy conditions at times, anywhere from 10 to 15 miles per hour. light breeze in san jose. and we've got 12 miles per hour currently at concord, 10 in livermore. numbers are beginning to warm, upper 50s to low 60s for inland east bay. more sunshine out there, so it's going to feel better, getting out to the farmers
