with a brisk westerly wind up to about 15 miles per hour and the north bay reaching 83 in napa and ukiah. the rest of the forecast, talking about changes. a look at the storm system and rain across the pacific northwest as this starts to move in by tomorrow afternoon and we start to see more clouds moving in and that chance of rain by tomorrow night. so going through the timeline of what to expect with a gusty wind, this will help bring in some cooler temperatures just briefly as we go into thursday and friday. and then the weekend will start to warm up again but there will be a couple of more systems passing by. it could bring in showers to the gusty to see more clouds by tomorrow afternoon. not as much sun a today. and then we're at 11:00 and starting to see rain moving into the far north bay approaching santa rosa. that starts to make way into san francisco in the east bay but it looks like some of the rain kind of breaks up. so maybe not all of us will see the showers moving through and it looks to clear out before we wake up and head out on thursday morning. i think by 5:00 or 6:00

that has generated some attention in northern part of the state in and around -- well, particularly ukiah area, and we're getting our arms around that. i think you're 20 plus% contained. you feel pretty confident around that fire because the winds are beginning to settle down. the kincade fire which we have over 4100 personnel working on that kincade fire has grown to over 66,000 acres. right mains at 5% containment but is bigger footprint and so we're holding our own and i want to make this point. particularly holding our own in and around hills berg and windsor. i want to compliment the totality of the operation not only as it relates to the hand crews that are out there, the number of dozer cruise, bulldozers on the ground, the folks holding the line around windsor and around that 101 car door to keep it on the east side without allowing spotting to happen on the west side of 101. i feel confident that they have operationally i think secured the perimeters around the fire in a way that gives me confidence moving forward but i'm not naive about shifting winds and conditions and ware put

healdsburg 31. 33 ukiah. across the rest of the bay area it is just the northbay. we won't be nearly as cold in the south bay. the difference is the dry air. because dry air is easier to cool down a lot more. that could act as an insulator if you had a little more moisture in the air. the drier the air the colder the temperatures. if we take a look at the map for relative humidity's. we have the shades of green showing you higher levels down here. in the south bay. in the northbay is a lot drier. you can see the offshore flow the nortay moorringing the northbay is more isolated with the interior valleys but don't have the same access to whatever humidity might be over the bay. we feel it a lot more here. over the next four mornings between santa rosa in san jose. normally you are hitting the same number. the daytime high. you're both going to 74 tomorrow. with the morning lows it is not going to be equal at all. as far as the rest of the seven day forecast. it will be cold for the next 2 to 3 mornings. and then everything gets better. we stopped freezing. the dayti
