helicopters and high-water vehicles to make sure we can get into those areas that might traditionally be unaccessible. >> what about the power outages? there's going to be a lot of it already starting hundreds of thousands of people, maybe millions, when all is said and done. how long can residents expect to be without electricity? >> short answer, days or weeks. in the areas that we can gain access to. and by we i mean state, local governments. the utilities, as well as the private sector. most of these power companies are owned and operated by the private sector. they need to get access. to get access, that means debris has to be removed from the roads and they have to have their linesmen get up and repair those lines. so, again, it depends where you are. but days or weeks. >> will our power crews, including from out of state, on the way? >> they absolutely are. we have been working closely again with both the public utilities as well as the investor-owned utilities to make sure that those adssets are nearby. they're pros. they have a mutual aid compact. power crews coming from all over the country
