flames came close to homes in the towns early c this week but unburned. state fire officials believe lightning is what started that fire. >>> here's what is happening now in southern california. heavy rains from thunderstorms have triggered flash floods and mud flow in part of san bernardino county. this is video from a man living in forest falls about 75 miles east of los angeles. it show as massive water debris pushing underneath a local bridge. county sheriff says evacuation have not been order ordered but they are carefully monitoring the flooding as would you expect. now mud and debris just came washing down a number of hill sides. several roads have been blocked by the flooding. as you can see this one has as well. so it's really just a really terrible situation that came up so quickly in southern california. spencer is here with our forecast but of course he's monitoring the really extreme weather down south spencer. >> that's true. we have a live doppler 7 hd looping image the show you how the storms tapering off down in the area right now. seems
