reporter: a scare stoughton street in dorchester just before 1:00 this morning when two undercover boston police officers investigating reports of a man with car in front of the dublin house. that's when the driver, who police have now offed as this man, 34-year-old vincent weeks of roxbury peeled away dragging the two officers down the street before he sped away. >> when the officers had to handle him, asked him to get out the car, he accelerated at a high rate of speed, dragging a couple of officers down the street. >> reporter: taken to brig man that's sad. i'm sad that that happened. that's not good. >> reporter: police spent hours trying to locate the car, a chevy malibu, with connecticut license plates. they say weeks was driving. they were also reviewing surveillance video from cameras positioned in the area. >> the fact that someone would just take off and not stop shows what kind of world we're in right now. it's unbelievable. something, something that's going on. you know, that's sad. >> weeks is being held without bail tonight. he will face a judge on friday morning. as for the four p
