there's orthorexia, an unhealthy obsession with healthy eating. the irony is that they are sticking to rigidly to certain foods, they might cut out food groups or they might be -- they might skip an entire meal because it doesn't have the safe foods in it. the eye irony is they are heati healthy food but they are becoming unhealthy. there's a term out there called drunkarexia. someone who is engaging in behaviors where they are not eating. they are cutting out calories, exercising to save up calories to spend them on binge drinking. it's dangerous. we are seeing an earlier onset. we see young girls and boys in grade school with disorder eating, hating their body and developing eating disorders. it's much younger than what we have been seeing historically. also, midlife eating disorders we're seeing. we're seeing the onset in midlife but also maybe someone who has had an undetected eating disorder early on maybe relapse, maybe they have had a period of stability and relapse due to a stressor. >> is part of this for lack of a better way to put it ne

for the third day in a row we had the spare the air alert in place, unhealthy for sensitive groups. and we are right here in the middle of this alert, not extreme but air quality has been coming down with that air pattern and the smoke drifting closer to the bay area. tracking fog hanging out along the coastline in keeping the beaches on the cool side. and right now san francisco is only at 53 degrees, and we can still see 60s toward concord, walnut creek and fremont. san jose 64, and half moon bay is a chilly 49 degrees. heating up over the west in the past few days, and today, tomorrow and friday, temperatures inland near 100. the bay and the beach is only in the 60s, almost like a sweater is needed coastal today. trying to keep the fog in parts of the shoreline on the cool side, inland we had these bright colors reflecting the hot temperatures, easily topping 100 degrees. these numbers are about the same as yesterday, santa rosa 97, san rafael 93 degrees, and look at the triple digits toward fairfield, vacaville, livermore, pleasanton, antioch and brentwood. oakland 83, so at lea

for our region, the areas that have some unhealthy, i should say for air quality for the afternoon is the inner east bay and the south bay. if you have asthma or respiratory issues, be aware. moderate air quality for the north bay and the coast. when it comes to air quality, we will talk about monterey. if you are north of the fire, expect to see some smoke and smell it as well, and we have a southerly breeze expected for today, pushing the smoke to the north over monterey in toward santa cruz. conditions right now, 50 degrees and 96% relative humidity. it will warm up some as we get into the afternoon, and the wind is generally like for today as the firefighters continue to get the blaze under control. for hayward, into the afternoon, 70 degrees expected and upper 70s for the warmer part of the day, topping out at 78 between 3 and 4, cooling off for the evening. for the rest of us, upper 80s for santa rosa and the east bay, and livermore 96, 96 at antioch and very hot. yesterday the communities touching 100. going to the water, 75 in oakland and 65 in san francisco, low 80s for mount
