scattered showers from hayward down through union city. as we head to the hills we have snow in the sierras. we have advisories in place until 4:00 tomorrow morning. there will be heavy snow, whiteout conditions a possibility. it will be very treacherous getting up the hill tonight. both the bay area and lax reporting flight delays. that is expected to continue into the night. getting into tonight, again, we will see this taper off. we are looking at mainly dry weather. cold air is expected to filter into the bay area into the overnight hours. if we do manage to get a little bit of moisture we could end up with a little snow on higher peaks. i will be here tomorrow morning and we will check on that. as we get into the overnight hours take a look at some of these numbers. around the bay, upper 30s to low 40s. it will be a chilly start and a chilly afternoon as well. temperatures will be cool as we get through christmas day, temperatures will come up just slightly as we get back to work on monday. once we get past this wet weather tonight we
