if we go with centerboard in, there may be a concern with running those unique vehicles throughout the city 24 hours a day, having adequate time to do maintenance and overall activity in. director ramos: i want to make sure we focus on accommodating the work force in fisherman's wharf. because it is so slow, if i had less than an hour to get to my job, i would drive. that would lead to parking. i would take precious parking spaces nearby from other people who do not need them as much as i do it. i am really eager to see how things will turn out to make a trend -- to make transportation faster and more efficient in this area. keep of the great work. >> on your outreach, please communicate with our first responders and emergency people. i think it will have some interesting input on how these lang configurations might help or hurt them, and particularly help them use this as a corridor to respond to emergencies more quickly. i did not see any of that. >> i am very supportive of this project so far. i am surprised to see it is coming up to march, where we selected the preferred alternative. ju

. >> i think there are some unique situations in the city. i think west portal has 25 foot heights. there are certain neighborhood commercial districts that maybe do not have, are not linked into the network to support high density housing in these older, sensitive arrangements, may be of san jose was not there and there were more connections for people to move through, it would be less of an issue. the other thing that comes to mind as we have struggled with this issue on mission street, where there are thoughts about reducing hides, but it's a major transit corridor and want to encourage more dense housing. >> i think it is a great question. it is a regional transit hub. it has not only bart, but the highway and muni stops. part of this is the balance to figure out between the scale of this particular neighborhood, which is quite special. with the idea of up zonian creating more density. where we came down -- the idea of up zoning creating more density. rather than sending existing bilked stocks, we could look at key sites like the bart parcel for some zoning density. but with a l

another unique thing that the city is doing in terms of helping our businesses and dealing with capital needs is as a city, sometimes, we implement regulations, and you would think that might require some substantial capital for small businesses to do an understanding that a lot of our very small businesses may not have the capital means to be able to implement those regulations. a new one that has just been implemented is there is the fats, oils, and greece requirements that restaurants are going to need to have for their restaurants, and many businesses may have to install new equipment -- fats, oils, and grease. we parted with opportunity loan fund to help provide a specific program for this new regulation for businesses, and we have also had many businesses experience some drive-by lawsuits, and understanding some of the financial needs in dealing with the losses, making the 88 improvements. again, we partnered with opportunity loan funds to help businesses comply and to deal with their legal needs and with these losses. also, we held businesses understand, if you want to do busines
