as i sat waiting to get an answer from united airlines for an hour and a half unsuccessfully, i sat on competitors and prices to denver doubled and tripled. some flights were removed. others, there wasn't an increase in the price at all. are your partners or are you physically intervening saying we have a special situation here. we reduce supply or double the price. what guess oes on behind the sc? >> the price is usually determined by the airline partners. the airlines drive the pricing. a lot of airlines have revenue management programs. they are looking at supply and demand and pricing on a live basis based on whatever their optimizing for. you might see some airline prices going up significantly. you might see some prices staying the same depending on revenue management program of a particular airline. >> help us understand how this impacts your business specifically. at the end of the quarter will this be a help to your quarter or will this be a ding to your results? >> i think it will hurt the results. right now what we're worried about is making sure that our customers are okay.

united states right now. >> talk to me a little about that, particularly in regard to american right now. >> well, up until recently, american was the last airlinewas not outsourcing maintenance. but now of course, it's in bankruptcy reorganization, it's probably going to be acquired by us airways, it has new management and just even as we speak, just a few hours ago, 450 more mechanics were laid off at their facility in tulsa. that's the last facility in america. >> why is that a problem? all sorts of businesses outsource things. why can't you just find a good company, it's okay? >> well, it's the people that are doing the work. basically, in many cases the airplanes are going outside the united states to developing countries, we were just talking about china, singapore, el salvador, mexico. in many cases, believe it or not, the mechanics are not licensed and believe it or not, the faa allows that. in many cases, the standards are different. here in the united states, if you're an airline mechanic working for an airline in house, you have to go through drug screening, alcohol screening, i went through it when i worked in the airline industry. y
