united flight number 22. the l.a.x.l spokesperson is saying the passenger did not comply with the flight crew's instructions to return to the seat. the plane was return the to the gate. they're saying, the fbi believes there's no identifiable threat to the plane or passengers. the passenger in question is right now being interviewed in connection with this incident and is cooperated. they're going to rescreen all of the luggage and conduct what is called a precautionary search of the aircraft. also the statement from l.a.x. is no criminal charges are anticipated and the plane will department to new york as soon as the searches and screening process is concluded. again, a spokesperson from l.a.x. saying they do not see a threat as a result of suspicious behavior by a passenger. the passenger apparently did not comply with the flight crews' instructions to return to his seat. we'll continue to watch this breaking news. we'll be right back with more politics. now that's progressive. call or click today.
