thousands of passengers still trying to get back on their flights tonight, after being stranded around the country, when a computer system at united airlines suddenly crashed, forcing the airline to cancel or delay more than 100 flights, leaving passengers angry, and an even larger question about the airline's computer system itself. >> waiting process is to come back up. >> reporter: united airlines' computer system collapsed. soon, passengers were left stranded. airport check-ins, boardings, all coming to a halt. and angry lines started growing from chicago, to denver, to this passenger in san francisco. >> it's pathetic, actually. they should have figured it out by now. >> reporter: tonight, united still has no explanation for the computer crash beyond blaming, quote, a network connectivity issue. the outage lasting five hours, friday night into this morning. but delays continue this evening. at least 135 flights canceled or delayed. 2,500 passengers stranded in l.a. alone. united has been flying close to capacity this summer. so, finding new flights for all those stranded passengers made the problem even worse. >> what else ca
