united states. the supreme court has long held that our nation has a compelling interest in creating racially diverse college campuses. college campus practices have tailored the use of race as evaluating prospective students in fostering a diverse college campus environment. such admissions have not only helped the historically underserved students but research confirms that diverse campuses provide all students with a better equality well rounded education. last month the supreme court decided that harvard and university of north carolina's pursuit of these compelling interests is unconstitutional. the supreme court decision is a set back for the efforts to be a set back and the effort to ensure diverse learning environments for all students. now that it is done, it is imperative to review all other facets that research shows that may be racially discriminatory and determine if they need to be eliminated given this ruling. now there are admission' factors that take into consideration racially inequitable k-12 and bias tests, the legacy admissions and other factors that may have a discriminatory imp
