there's a lot left up to the states in the 1787 constitution and i just want to point out cool as the united states moves into the early 19th century and of course at the end of the 18th century states are being added to the union and their provisions of the constitution to allow for the addition of new states and they have republican forms of government and they have to be approved by congress and so we are seeing states like ohio and illinois alabama louisiana all join this union and of course with westward expansion this land is being taken from native americans and many native americans are resettled by the united states government and reserve territories in oklahoma. one of the nations that is removed as the choctaw nation largely based in what is now mississippi and one of the interesting things that the choctaw nation does is after they are forced to be removed from their original homeland and move to what is now oklahoma they write their own republican form of government right down to the constitution that is very similar to the federal constitution and the other specific word about
