three days after i graduated and finished university of georgia. i entered flight school and valdosta, georgia at moody air force base. and you can't imagine or you probably can't imagine after hearing my story how thrilling that was and how excited i was. and where it's a lot of guys who are very concerned that this is going to be hard and this is going to be difficult and we got to work hard at this and lee ellis went there to play and enjoy flying because i didn't have any money in college to play much. so now i get a paycheck every month and i got a nice apartment on base and a paycheck and i've just bought my new car and valdosta state college. it's 10 miles away. so, you know flight school was one wonderful year. and i did well flying i had good flying skills and all that. so it all went well. dated a lot of girls at bald off the state college, but i knew that we were probably going to go to war and i just kind of kept my distance from getting to to involved and so i had a girlfriend or two, but i just knew that wasn't for me right now. i wasn
