so it's really not very unusual. down on the end here we have an oil haverstack, an oil cloth haverstack, it has an oil cloth book in here from 1857 that we believe belonged to edward shaw, and another thing is we're going through the inventory and catalog was this piece right here. it's labeled as a sack when in reality if you see the button holes up here and compare the sizes, this is a haversack liner that was commonly used during the civil war so it would have been -- wouldn't have been very unusual at all to find something like this up in the attic. i can't say that it belonged to that havesack but it's quite possible that it did. the one last intriguing item is this item right here. this here is a military bayonet, and it was also found in the attic, and several people had asked me why, why would clara barton who was an angel of the battlefield be carrying a bayonet around with her? i don't think she used it for protection. these were actually something of a leathermen of the 19th century, an all-purpose tool,
