back toward aldie and upperville. look at this just outside of fauquier county going west on 66. all of this is moving northeast from warrenton south we have heavier showers and lighter stuff from charms and st. mary's -- charles and st. mary's counties coming out of virginia. it's going to be somewhat active with the rain and maybe a rumble or to of thunder. temperatures in the low to mid- 60s. we're still 72 in town. 73 in reedville and 70 in newland from our weather watchers. outside on our michael & son weather camera, cloudy skies. 72 here at the noon hour with winds south, southwest at 14. that's bringing in the low level moisture. it's also bringing in some of the warmth we've had where nighttime temperatures stayed in the 60s. you can see a wider picture, a push of the showers and some isolated thunder moving north and east. behind it cooler, drier air coming in behind the front. that's what's going to move in for tonight. south and east of town we're also worried about the threat, maybe a strong thunderstorm or two especially -- actually, this is even better news. earlie
