we can see up that road for about a mile or 2, and once you get up that road, you can definitely seehe area where it's all burned out. you can see some active fire. at this point, it's just them numbers now. one of the major concerns up here is the very windy condition. let's go to the video and show you what the scene looks like yesterday. this fire started yesterday afternoon just off tesla road in eastern alameda county. the fire has scorched 2,500 acres. at last report, it was -- it has grown in lyms and bounds, doubling in size the first few hours crews responding, doubling again hours later. structures have been destroyed. no reports of injuries at this point. while it was still light out, we can tell you crews were attack being fire from the ground and the air, and they say drought conditions definitely contributed to this fire. >> historic in terms of the doubt, and it's really bad this year, and of course, we're still very early in the fire season. >> now, we are looking to see if we can contact alam,da county fire officials to find out update on containment and find out if
