new york just outside of syracuse. this is a seven-bedroom, three and a half bath home in upstate new york. kind of looks like a little frank lloyd wright. >> it does. especially when you get inside. what is wrong with this house is it needs a real good clipping job. it is beautifully grown but too much. you can't even find the house frankly. inside there is a kitchen that's really square and big. plenty of space but the cabinets are dark. it needs lightening and certainly new hardware. easy fix to make a big difference in that house. there is real wood panel throughout almost the entire house and this wrap-around windows that run the full length of the dining room and the living room connect the space. that gives you that frank lloyd feeling you were just mentioning. the floors are stone quarry from nearby ithica. the living room has floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. there's also a guest room with its own bath and fire place. not unusual. but it comes with its own built-in oven. come on over and stay a while. >> cool. >> and cook under that buck head for a while. but the patio out back

upstate new york and new england it was another cold today. arctic air holding on with a high in care of only 10 degrees -- syracuse, new york 51, way up around northern michigan in 53 degree temperatures. warm conditions all the way from the great lakes to chicago. st. louis was 70 degrees friday afternoon. we hit 63 at bwi marshall. that is quite a bit above normal the normal high as 41 degrees. still not even close to our record for the sixth of january, that is 72 degrees set and 1950. it is still relatively mild in most areas. now areas 43 degrees, columbia 43 degrees. down to the coast of this is where you really see the difference. in the icebox of maryland, late evening temperature of 46 degrees. these guys that cleared out and stayed mostly clear in the evening. as we start saturday it will be chilly in the morning. with all of the dry air, sunshine will rapidly warm things that we could hit 60 again tomorrow before a friend comes at. the morning hours, 40's in the suburbs and 40's in town. that little hint of winter is holding on in
