we are expecting odin lloyd's mom ursula ward to speak any moment. susan candiotti. think of the family dynamic in the courtroom. aaron hernandez and odin lloyd the man he's accused of killing they were dating sisters. those two sisters in court every day sitting on opposite sides. both of them reacted. tell us about it. >> yeah. it was particularly poignant to watch this play out in court, this particular aspect of it. looking and i kept looking at the fiancee, shayanna whose always sat on the opposite side of the courtroom from her own sister who always sat next to the mother of the victim. she, as you said, they were dating each -- she was dating odin lloyd and shayanna the fiancee of hernandez. and so barely looking at each other, never saw them talk to each other, not once. and that is how it has been since the a arrest of aaron hernandez. when shaneah realized he was being accused of the murder. going back to her testimony, a chilling moment when she was on the stand, shaneah, she said that within hours after the murder and she was at the home, that aaron herna

we've heard from ursula ward. obviously did not hear from aaron hernandez, didn't hear from aaron hernandez's family but they were in there as well for the dramatic moment that the verdict was read. were they in there for his sentencing as well? >> they were not. right after the verdict was read, that's when his mother and his fiancee left the courtroom and, in fact, left the courthouse, so they weren't there to see any of that. that's what made it particularly interesting as the victim impact witnesses were being read, aaron hernandez had nowhere else to look but occasionally up at his lawyers, and they were looking straight ahead, and then he kept looking over at the victim's familyknee shah nia, he kept looking over in her direction, and in the direction of the mother. constantly wiping his lips, looking around, and once even turned to look in the direction where we in the news media, in the press were sitting and briefly glanced our way too. i have never taken my eyes off him as -- throughout this entire proce

you saw ursula ward was able to smile today. i'm sure she's going through a lot of emotions. she 13450i8d when she came out to address the media, and of course shed some tears. she has shed a lot of tears, as has the entire lloyd family. when this verdict came down, it was a bit surprising in that because the jury deliberate rated, a lot of people who were watching the details mostly thought this was going to be headed edward a mistrial that the jury was not going to be able to agree. aaron hernandez at one point actually sat down which is not necessarily customary. you can see him turn around and look at his mom and jenkins, they were both in tears. they were mouthing to each other. i heard someone that he mouthed to the jury that they got it wrong. i haven't seen video if that in fact occurred but there's no drama now. aaron hernandez will spend the rest of him life in prison without parole. and where he will be housed is very close to where he was a rising star in the nfl. >> this was a highly circumstantial case. as i understand is it because of the way they were able to
