from the south bay. it involves a pg&e substation that was the scene of trouble just one month ago. janine de la vega is joining us live. she is right there in south san jose. what happened? >> reporter: there are sheriffs deputy cars parked out here. you can also see there is private security. they've been flashing their lights. there was a search going on here earlier after a suspicious person was seen. what we are hearing a suspicious man was seen on the pg&e property a couple hours ago. again near met calf road and monterey highway. security shined their flashlights on them and he went running toward monterey highway. this is the same substation that was vandalized a month ago. police called it sabotage because they cut fiberoptic cables and fired a rifle at the substation. that knocked out 911 calls and caused oil to leak from their trance former -- transformers. we know security has been tight here. we put in a call to the sheriffs department to find out about the search that was done here a couple hours ago and what they came up with. we are starting to hear back from them as well as the pg&e we called them
