angelica joins us from the newsroom with new information. police say 67-year-old jameel ali sexually assaulted a woman back in may. ali is already a convicted sex offender. he was released back to the community on april 20, with the requirement that he inform officers couldn't find him. ali is expect to be back in court later today. a brown deer police officer charged for shooting a man outside a milwaukee county bus is back in court. earlier this month devon kraemer waived her right to a preliminary hearing. according to a criminal complaint-- kraemer and another officer took a belligerent passenger off a milwaukee county bus back in march. kraemer ended up shooting the man in the back. the man in that shooting survived. kraemer is back in court later today. happening today- we are expecting to learn more from new berlin police about the two people found dead in a home last wednesday. an elderly man and woman were found with single gunshot wounds inside their home on hickory trail. when police arrived -- the 76-year-old man was already dead.

angelica joins us from the newsroom with the latest. dennis wallace was shot twice at point-blank range while checking a report of a suspicious van yesterday. police say the suspect -- 36-year-old david machado-- sped off in the van... officials say while on the run, machado committed an armed robbery, and then later tried to steal a woman's purse. the woman fought him off and called police. police say machado ran from the scene, but was soon caught by officers. officials are calling the death an execution. wallace was a 20-year veteran of the sheriff's office. kim ande argentina is being rocked by more earthquakes and aftershocks... a magnitude 6-point-2 quake struck the northwestern part of the country this morning-- near the border with chile. so far, no reports of any victims or major damage. the new zealand prime minister is traveling to the epicenter of yesterday's deadly earthquake. prime minister john key will be taking a helicopter to the small south island coastal town of kaikoura.police say one person died in kaikoura and ano

[ no microphone ] >> this all started in solano county with an attempted traffic stop. the chp followed the driver all the way down i-80 to the upper deck of the bay bridge. chopper 5 above the scene just a few moments ago. that's the pickup truck that police were chasing. police used a spike strip to stop it at ashby avenue in berkeley but it kept on going on flat tires! we're told the driver continued to speed and weave through traffic until it spun out just before the fremont street exit. chopper 5 also caught images of police arresting the driver. the fallout from all of this, a nightmare friday evening commute in the area. traffic into the city is backed up across the bridge. at one point, three lanes were blocked. we are just getting word the chp has cleared the scene on the upper deck but even so, the bay bridge commute right now a real mess. i'm live in the newsro
