joining us from washington, brit hume. how big a factor will the entertainment media and the internet, which picks up all this stuff and disseminates, how big a factor will this be in the upcoming election? >> i think that the entertainment media will be a factor certainly for president obama because you had all that enthusiasm from young people who tend to watch this sort of thing, especially late night television and so on. older people go to bed. younger people are up. these young comedians who host these shows attract a younger audience. the president, all that enthusiasm for young people was in 2008, and it's probably not there for him this year because the job picture for young people, particularly those just coming out of college, is extremely bleak. there was an a.p. survey done last week that ended up concluding that one in two college graduates now adays is either unemployed or underemployed. that is a difficult situation for him to run in as far as young people are concerned. i'm sure he will do what he can thro

while joining us from washington is our correspondent steve kingston. ve, bring us the background to this case. >> so the background to this case is that between september and november last year, there was a series of perhaps to most of us strange soundsing attacks within the amish community, in which the defendants, led by the man you mentioned, samuel mullet, breakaway bish within a particular amish sect within ohio, allegedly tied up, held down and cut the hair of members of a different amish sect in that area. as a result, it's alleged by prosecutors of a long-term feud between the two groups. the context to this, of course, is long hair and long beards are very much a mark of the amish faith, amick people believe the bible tells them women should not cut their hair and after marriage men should not save. the most productive and offensive thing one amish person can do to the other is cut the hair in this way. so it's being considered by the federal authorities as a hate crime. >> steve, this is a very private community, so it is rare these crimes are

we're going through everything that came to us from washington, d.c. we have lots of gifts, things that the american people thought that bill clinton would like to own. we have videotapes. we have dvds. we have portraits of them done by adults, by children, by everyone. we have portraits on notebook paper. we have portraits on oil. beautiful things. we have a lot of t-shirts and baseball caps in our collection, probably about 25% of our collection almost is baseball caps and t-shirts. these were given to president clinton as -- if he visited some place, and they wanted to give him a momento of their tone or organization or something like that. sometimes they have causes on them, too. we have some nafta items, t-shirts and things like that that relate to a specific event. but the collection really representing what was important to the american people during the presidency of bill clinton. they thought it was important to send to the president during the presidency. i think that's one of the most interesting things about our collection. those things are
