a beautiful day shaping up for us here. we're looking at sunshine. temperatures finally warming up into the 60's for us here in the capital city. other areas maintaining kind of mid to upper 50's but they'll be following suit soon. i think we'll see most everybody make it at least to 60 today. probably a little bit warmer here in the capital city but elsewhere, still expect some temperatures to be quite warm. skies are clear for us at the moment. we are looking at some cloud cover sliding in from the south. that's going to be the case throughout the day today and evening. expecting mostly cloudy skies by tonight. but i think we hang on to a good deal of sunshine by this afternoon. winds are pick up a little bit. southwest wind at around 10 to 15 miles per hour. not near as breezy as it was earlier in the week. enough to move the air around and pull that moisture into place that is going to help us warm up. we've seen just as much sunshine every other day this week. because the winds are out of the southwest, that's going to help pull that warmer air

mostly cloudy skies for us here in the early hours of your wednesday afternoon. but we are still awaiting to see any type of significant rainfall for us. we did see a little bit of drizzle earlier this morning. a few pockets here and there. we're looking for more of the same as we move into the afternoon hours. seeing the rain pick up to the east and this will be the case for the next couple of hours, we'll be waiting on the rain. but not really expecting a lot. we were talking about this morning how even if we saw some, it would be very, very light. it was so light, we haven't really seen much at all. good news is temperatures have climbed to 60 degrees for us here downtown. winds are out of the north. we're seeing very cloudy conditions. expecting some rain to come at some point this afternoon. albeit rather light most likely. keep our temperatures where they are right now. isolated showers are possible through the rest of the 61 and 41 for the high and low today. not too bad temperaturewise. want to have that umbrella handy with the full details of the forecast

and should be gone by the time we get to dinnertime for us here, if not sooner. especially if that low in the gulf really progresses like it's supposed to. i think we'll see a much drier forecast here very, very soon. see the rain move out for us by later on tonight. i think even the coastal areas will be dry by 9:00. for us, dinnertime i think is pretty good chance we're going to see some dry weather. we're kind of on the western edge of that rain to begin with anyway. it won't take much for that system to move off to the east and give us a drier forecast. friday, nothing happening for us at all. it is going to be a beautiful forecast as we head into the weekend. but we have to get to the rain today. look for the rain to move out later this afternoon. temperatures stay around 50 or so and cool off to around 35 tonight. we are going to be a little cooler tomorrow morning. sky will clear out and obviously with it not being that warm today, we don't have a lot of warmth to be able to hang on to. keep that in mind, it will be a saturday and sunday, absolutely perfect
