>>> new details now from oakland police about arrests in a recent home invasion in the city's diamond district, that injured an 81-year-old woman. ktvu's brian flores joins us with how many people were arrested in the case. >> reporter: good afternoon. oakland police holding a press conference in about 20 -- about 20 minutes ago. they updated the public involving several cases this afternoon. two of them were home invasion rob rice. as you mentioned, we go to video, one case involved an 81-year-old woman shot in the shoulder at her home in the 4100 block of laguna in the diamond district. this was 10:30 a.m. in january by one person. police announced this afternoon they have arrested at least four people in connection to this case. two of them are male adults, two are teenaged boys. all of them were arrested last week according to the oaklands police department. >> all of the suspects have a history of theft in their arrest history. we're currently presenting the case to the district attorney's office for review and the charges will be pending. hopefully we'll get the cases charged today. >> reporter: police did not disclose if the victim knew the suspects

bryan is live in oakland to let us know what the district is proposing today.yan. >> reporter: good morning. many were waiting for a storm like we saw over the weekend. despite the water conservation efforts continue for many people and is being considered for east bay customers. that decision will be made later this afternoon during the utility meeting. again, this afternoon the district which serves over a million customers will decide whether to ask payers to voluntarily cut back 10 percent of way usage. according to the district, resent rain helped levels which is 63 percent of capacity. overall, the district said it's only received just under half of what they would normally receive under the rainy season. east bay will also attack other recourses but with that comes the possibility that rates may go up in order to obtain the water supply. we've spoken with many residence debits this morning. many say they are conserving already while others don't seem concerned about the drought situation. the rain is running late. >> you never know. january no rain and a
