in a letter from death row to our sister station in sacramento, shermantine says there are more bodies out there. in a cbs 5 exclusive, sam shane shows us that letter. >> reporter: wesley shermantine began the letter sent to cbs13 by writing none of my litters claim i killed anyone and i have never put anyone in a well. for the past week in linden, investigators have been digging up a well and sifting through dirt gathering more than 1,000 bone fragments which they believe are the remains of people who were killed by shermantine and his boyhood friend loren herzog. in his letter, shermantine writes, herzog has two more sites where he has dumped his victims. shermantine and herzog were arrested in 1999 and eventually convicted of killing four people. they were called the "speed freak" killers. authorities now believe they may have killed as many as 20 or more. herzog committed suicide last month. shermantine, who is on death row, had been telling authorities where the bodies are buried. he gave instructions on where to dig to sacramento bounty hunter leonard padilla. in his letter to us, shermantine writes, i would like it understood wit
