if you're just joining us, vallejo to san francisco, it will be a very long drive.is because of earlier road work and an earlier motorcycle accident. traffic is backed up big time. this is the most that i have seen it backed up in vallejo for a long time. backed up all the way through vallejo and out into the carquinez bridge and well into hercules because of the earlier problems. some people have bailed on 80 and they're using 680 instead. that is also very slow this morning. even if you're not taking 80, you will notice more people joining you in concord and walnut creek and lafayette on westbound 24. it is taking 49 minutes. normal time is half an hour. things are getting a little better. at one point it was taking almost an hour and a half to drive that stretch. here is a look at the bay bridge toll plaza. we had an earlier crash west of the metering lights on the left side. that has been cleared. also looking at interstate 880 northbound from oakland coliseum to downtown. not that slow. northbound 880 at 8th street, overturned car on the right shoulder and traf
