us cumulative rain. we had the heavy rain that moved through the south, places like virginia came together with a cold front then all of that moisture has been squeezing its way now through the northeast. but it is not going to be over in the near future, already a number of flood watchings and warnings, even though the current radar looks like it is clearing out, the front staying in place will give us some possibilities. but then you can see a resurgence along that boundary for the next few days from the mid-atlantic north ward, and especially the mid-atlantic, it looks like chances for heavier rain. the closer you get to the coastline, the higher the amount. today especially some places seeing possibly 8 inches or more. and adding to that over the next couple of days. same thing for the mid-atlantic area. and then as you get further interior, but heavy amounts of rain for a couple of days, and behind that frontal system, searchtures have been dropping 10 or 15 degrees in some cases, so if you were still breaking out the shorts and t-shirts today, you might want to have the sweater ready tomorrow. the oth
