thanks for joining us here on kron for news 11. i'm noelle bellow and i'm dan thorn. firefighters fear the already devastating situation is expected to get. >> even worse overnight because of the strong winds. kron. 4 sarah stinson has been monitoring the situation around the palisades fire and she joins us live in studio right now with the very latest. sara. >> that's right. we just learned a 25 year-old firefighter has a serious head injury. she's been taken to the hospital and multiple burn victims have been reported. now this is stunning video from up above this aerial footage really shows us just how catastrophic this fire has become its expansive. it's active it at the last check, of course, are saying nearly 3,000 acres. but of course, they can tell in the dark and at this time. so you can see for yourself just how much land is burning. i spoke with a cal fire battalion chief who says they have resources from across the bay area down there helping fight this fire, which really doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon. >> it's blowing really hard now. so it's
